ESPELHO: a visual rereading of Espelho by Abílio-José Santos
"Espelho", the homonymous visual poem created by Abílio-José Santos, in 1987, was the inspiration for an interactive installation, in which gallery visitors are confronted with their own presence and reflection on the screen.
This installation was part of the collective exhibition showcasing several digital retextualizations based on the work of Abílio-José Santos, “re: A-JS (deve ler-se reage-se)”, curated by Rui Torres, Diogo Marques and Bruno Ministro, within the scope of the exhibition “Abílio-José Santos Revelação: Concretos e Visuais", Fórum da Maia.
